06/10/08 The cockroach outside our hostel had a bad night of it, was still on its back 9 hours later, gutted. Got picked up by our tour guide from the hostel and picked up 2 others that were on the trek with us, 2 Swedes, Henrik and Josephine, friendly chaps. 03/10/08 Spent the day wandering around the city, went to ChinaTown and had fried rice with pork, and saw about a million flipflop stores. We then went to MBK shopping mall. Met two guys in the hostel when we got back, and we all got a cab to get some food. Most rediculous cab ever!! We sat in it for around an hour and a half and only moved like a mile.
