Another day in the vineyard spent putting on the nets. We were up & out a little after 8a this morning in an effort to beat the heat. (I think it's been near 90 the last 2 days.). After 4.5 hours or so, we're nearly there. However, while doing this we're seeting quite a few birds getting in & underneath.

In the afternoon, we went to help one of Maggie's friends. Nicik, has a smaller vineyard and smaller nets which made the job much easier. Our reward was a lovely glass of Pinot Noir and Cabinet on the veranda after and a bottle each to take with us. It was interesting to see the difference between the two vineyards.

We've decided to stay here through the weekend and housesit for Maggie while she goes to the coast. it's very comfortable and she's been so nice to us.
