It was a year ago today that we our friend David passed away and we spent the day remembering him. Alan had flew in from SFO the day before and it was nice to be all together again. Of course, our rememberance celebrations included a few skype calls to other friends who couldn't be with us and lunch at MacDonalds. After a great time at Russ's, we drove from LAX to Matt & Marilyn's place in Bermuda Dunes. On the way, Matt & Marilyn introduced us to 'In & Out Burgers'...wow!! While the burgers were amazing, the chocolate shakes were incredible, too. So much for my resolution to eat more healthily in 2010!

Hello from Southern California! After a wonderful 3 weeks in NH, we headed for Southern California to meet up with friends Russ, Matt & Marilyn. Flew from Atlanta to Boston on Friday evening. It was raining buckets when we left Atlanta and we had to fly through a huge storm. Luckily, it wasn't too bumpy and we arrived in Boston pretty much on time. Flew Delta and they were offering passengers the opportunity to try wi-fi on the flight for free. Tomorrow is our last day in Atlanta, and we've been busy finalising our work stuff. We fly to Boston tomorrow evening on Delta to see my family. The weather here in Atlanta is not supposed to be that good so hopefully we won't be delayed too much. Good-bye Doubletree Suites...hello holiday!!
