Must apologise for my slow updates to this site! I'm finding it's a little cumbersome in a couple of ways...it's slow, for one thing. And, then it takes a fair bit of time to upload photos. As such, I'm going to have to add them later, as/when I have time. Sorry!!

The other thing we've been focused on is sorting out our first 'wine gig'. (Not sure what else to call it.) It's required that we send a lot of emails which has been more time consuming than I expected. Oh well!!

Anyway, we're currently at Graham & Elaine's in Devonport and will be heading South to Masterton to stay with a lady named Maggie who has a vineyard. We'll get to her place on the 17th.

For now, though, we're enjoying the time w/Graham, Elaine and their son Ben. Ben is an energetic 3 year old who is very busy...he's a keen sword fighter, (spongy swords, of course) and is learning to use the brakes on his scooter. He's very cute! It's great to spend some time w/Graham & Elaine, too!!

Yesterday, our last day with the rental car we had...(an old Toyota Sprinter w/ 100K+ km on it; what a piece of junk that was, but it got us around)...we drove over to the West coast near Auckland. Very hilly and beautiful with a nice black sand beach.
