After a beautiful border crossing from Argentina to Chile we arrived in San Pedro de Atacama just in time to catch the second half of the England v Sweden match! On Wednesday we went sandboarding in the world's driest desert! It was good fun, except for when you got to the bottom of the sand dune and had to climb back up, which was hard work to say the least! Less hard work was crawling through some caves - I'm not quite sure why this was part of the excursion, but it was OK! The best part of the day was watching the sunset at the Valle de la Luna. The light made the sand appear a variety of reds, which was truly spectacular.
