Got up early and packed up. I happened to come across Laura and Sian in the kitchen and had breakfast before getting on the bus. The drive wasn't too long today and we got to the ferry terminal for Magentic Island at around 11.15am.

The ferry only took 20 minutes and then it was only a short bus journey to the other side of the island where our hostel was. It wasn't like a normal hostel, more like a camping resort and was really cute. We were in a 8 bed bungalow which was really nice.

We decided to take a walk up to the main beach which was called Horseshoe Bay which is the biggest on the island. It was sunny so a little bit of sunbathing was in order. Whilst we were on the beach we actually saw a wild koala in the trees which was cool.

When we had finally finished sunbathing we took a walk back to the hostel and Laura went for a run. I went on the internet for a little while and chilled out in the room. When she finally got back we went for a pizza that we could use our meal voucher for that came with the package price we paid. It was good pizza but we weren't completely full afterwards so we decided to make some noodles and pumpkin afterwards.

Whilst we were sat outside eating we saw a couple of possoms. Laura told me a story about one biting her cat but I thought she had said some sort of person so when she pointed down and said 'omg' and I looked and saw a possum staring up at me I screamed and jumped onto a chair. Turned out I way over reacted because everyone else then started stroking and feeding it.
