San Augustin is a little village in the middle of nowhere in the hills. Famous for Colombia´s oldest archaeolgical rock carvings, its steeped in history. We had a nightmare 9 hour coach journey from Bogota, which crosses one branch of the Andes. Bogota is 2600 metres above sea level and its freezing! its the size of London but doesnt seem it. We have mostly been drinking rum and sightseeing. San Gil is a great little town. loads to do.
