Well the real adventure starts. Left PP very early (before breakfast) first stop was a road side cafe which served beef and noodles - I was skeptical that I would like them for breakfast but they were great and just what I needed. The journey was through very green and sometimes flooded fields (not as many as there should be, this has been a very dry wet season so far). Every village had a Wat that was decorated in a traditional way.
On the way we stopped and had a meeting with a divisional education leader which was very interesting. In the evening we arrived in Saophoan. Oh I do hope Pailin is like this. We had the best dinner yet and this mornings breakfast was great. Don't get me wrong I will cook but it would be nice to know that for $2 I could get an omelet and coffee down the road!! The town is also a pleasant place to walk around but you can see it is one of the poorest areas of Cambodia.

Barry So pleased that you are describing your day by including the food you ate. This is the kind of real life blog that I can relate to. It is exciting to hear about everyday experiences that will become the norm for you.
