Day Twenty-eight

Another couple of busy days at work - nothing hugely exciting to report; but several interesting cases - diabetes insipidus in a 10month old with severe failure to thrive - the mother is so caring though, it's really sad to see such a tiny kid, he looks about the size of a 4 month old!

Have had some good teaching in the last couple of days as well, which has been really good and I'm trying to remember to learn some scine as well as the clinical stuff!

I have finally booked my trip away next weekend (did I write that last time?!), so I'm having a three day weekend to Uluru and Kings Canyon, which should be great.

Am really missing the UK today - the novelty of the strange not quite third world/ not quite first world life is wearing off! Hope you are all fabulous and beautiful (I don't doubt it for a moment!).
