Day 18 - Again making the most of the Hammocks, chilled Fiji style for about 4hrs in the hammocks again! Have had such a good time in Nacula, met some really nice people and even though it is so basic have learned to love our little bure hut! Off to the next island Waya which is further south, it sounds pretty similar to Nacula in that it will again be basic and pretty traditional. Waya is 2 islands that become one joined by sand when there is low tide. Welcomed to the island by 3 Fijian men singing to us with their guitars (didn't realize this would basically continue for the rest of our stay), was really welcoming just like Nacula. Settled into Sunset Waya and our new little bure, which was traditional built on the outside but had some very weird interior decorating inside! In the evening again had to participate in some Fijian dancing this time we did the limbo and again the conga, they seem to love the conga over here. After the dancing they had already set up a bonfire on the beach, it was such a quiet and peaceful evening, we just spent hours chatting to all the other people who were staying there and the staff, evn learnt some of the Fijian language, basics really just a bit of counting, please, and thank you. Really enjoying the Fijian way of life!
