Day 18 - Another grueling day! Spent most of the morning in a hammock reading and napping. Later in the morning we went to visit the local village, was such a good experience. We walked around the village with our guide; she showed us all the important places the community centre, church etc. We even got to visit the chief's house and meet his family! Don't think we were really prepared for how basic the villagers live, most of the houses were made of bamboo and some iron and tin, but only the important buildings really. By the time we had walked around the village, the local women had set up a little market full of all there homemade jewellery, sarongs and carvings. All the stuff was so well made, we each ended up buying something little. Afternoon we had a trip snorkeling to the blue lagoon, across off another island. Really enjoyed it luckily some of the others were there to show us what we were looking at, all I know is that we saw nemo fish, blue star fish and a lot of coral! Evening was again full of Bula dancing, conga's and Fiji beer!
