Day 7 - I think we have all decided that we are ready to leave Hollywood although we have had such a good time, it will be nice to be by the coast and have some more relaxing days!Had yet another mission with public transport trying to get to Redondo, but more than used to it now! Mike (distant relative) sorted out a hostel for us and took us for lunch when we got to Hermosa Beach, bit of luck really finding distant relatives like that. Hostel is right on the beach, although as with most hostels has some weird people staying there, the owner and staff are so helpful and friendly. After lunch we took a casual stroll up the beach stopping for some pictures on the lifeguard towers. Luckily when we got to the pier on the next beach along we managed to see a pod of dolphins swimming really close to the pier, couldn't believe how lucky we were to see them! Hermosa is a refreshing change to Hollywood really clean and relaxed atmosphere. Evening we were taken out for Sushi by Mike and some of his friends, mine and Daniela's first try of sushi! Didn't really mind the sushi I found one that I quite liked and stuck to that, it was more the sake bombs which had an effect on us! We all ended up getting ridiculously drunk, and everything was free! Met some of Mike's friends who were really nice, they all looked after us, although I think everyone was pretty drunk by the end of the meal. Went on to a few more bars but everything was a little hazy! Think Smitty was my favourite, he was quite an old guy who used to be the Mayor of Manhattan Beach and a music producer, he was such a nice man bit like a nice granddad!! I think we all discovered that sake bombs are not are friends!
