In Koh Phi Phi we stayed in a Bungalow on a private beach. We had to go by boat to get on and off the beach. We had a lovely view of the sea and the sunrise every morning at half 6. This woke us up every morning because the sun shone directly onto us and by half 7 it was too hot to stay in bed. We did a lot of snorkelling in Koh Phi Phi. We spent 2 days on the beaches on Phuket island, sunbathing and swimming in the sea. It was nice but that is all you can do in Phuket. Everything is really expensive because so many tourists go there. I don`t know why so many tourists go to Phuket. The scenery is not impressive like the other islands we went to and there is nothing to do. Aidan.

We wanted to go from Chiang Mai to the islands in the south west of Thailand. We could have flown but we couldn`t afford it. We got the sleeper train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, spent the day in Bangkok and then flew from Bangkok to Phuket with a really cheap airline. Probably the best view I�ve ever had on a toilet was on the train to Chiang Mai. It was an 11 hour journey from Ayuthaya and we went over rolling hills and through dense rainforest.
