Today we have said our goodbyes to our camper. After 31 days and 5412km we sadly had to part our ways. We are now in Auckland sleeping in a proper bed and we actually have space to move around. Determined to see the whole of New Zealand Aidan and I drove up to Northland in search of beautiful beaches and gorgeous weather. Lake Taupo is the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. Unfortunately, when we arrived we could only see a couple of feet out and it looked like the sea. The views would have been amazing. From the West Coast we drove for 9 hours to get to Kaikoura, a small town on the East Coast with lots of marine wildlife. We arrived at night and camped at a Seal Colony, woke up surrounded by seals.
