In our hostel room at Singapore we had a tv and a dvd player with a library of 1 movie: 'The Cave'. It's a film about some geologists who get stuck underground with some bloodthirsty, flesh-eating monsters. There is some really good acting and exciting plot twists. I wont spoil the ending for you in case you want to see it!

Katie thought she had died and gone to shopping heaven in Singapore. Orchard road has about 20 shopping centres and I think we went to all of them on the first day. Because we have a joint bank account, I get very nervous when Katie starts looking around an expensive shop so for me this was the most frightening experience so far.

We went on a sightseeing bus. There were two companies, one cost 30 dollars and one cost 5 dollars. The expensive one had loads of passengers but our cheap one was completely empty. Check out the photos of the empty bus!

I wasn't allowed in the Raffles Hotel because I was wearing shorts. It looked rubbish anyway.

We went to a chinese indoor hawker centre for lunch.
