We travelled to KL in style on a Super V.I.P. bus but unfortunately this turned out to be the worst bus journey we have been on. Leaving the Cameron Highlands we travelled 47km on a continuously twisty road downhill. Aidan was very close to being sick and the whole bus were holding onto their sick bags praying the bends would stop.

At KL we stayed in the Green Hut Lodge in a very green room.

Found an amazing shopping centre with an IMAX cinema and a roller coaster. After the bus journey we couldn't face the roller coaster so went to see a 3D film instead.

Didn't get up in time for the free tickets up the Pertonas Towers. Went up the KL tower instead, which is even higher.

Tried some Fusion food but wasn't enough for Aidan and he had to have a hot dog for suppper. The next night we ate at a Chinese hawker stall and ordered lots (eventhough there were no prices on the menu). This turned out to be the most expensive meal we'd had so far and we were sat on the street!

Went on a shopping spree at Petaling Market Bought His 'n' Her's matching sunglasses, Gucci of course. We were such posers we wore them at night.

Ventured out of the city to Batu Caves to see if there were any monkeys. I'd come prepared with peanuts, which the monkeys loved. They were so gentle and took peanuts out of your hand. Bus broke down on the way back to KL.

Our last day in KL was Valentine's Day. Aidan was his usual romantic self and the day before he'd sneeked out of the hostel to buy me a card then stuffed it down his pants so I wouldn't notice it on his return. What a lucky girl I am!
