The Cameron Highlands are often compared to England. The weather was absolutely terrible and for the first time I was cold! Aidan enjoyed the weather and even got to watch a thunder storm.
We went on a 'Country Tour' which was rather exciting. We visited a Rose Centre (check out the photos), Strawberry Farm (had strawberries and ice cream, yummy!), Butterfly Farm, Bee Farm and Tea Plantation. Tea Plantation was interesting but slightly disappointing as neither of us drink Tea, what a waste! The Butterfly Farm has some interesting characters and Aidan bonded with a scorpion. Unfortunately the camera ran out of battery at the point that the guide put the scorpion on Aidan's chest.
Aidan washed his pants again. I'm quite embarrassed, everywhere we go we have pants hanging on our balcony!
Food in Cameron Highlands was amazing. Well anything would have been amazing compared to horrible jungle food. There were loads of Indian restaurants that specialised in Banna Leaf Currys, which were huge! Aidan couldn't believe his luck.
The road out of the Cameron Highlands is renowned for its bendy roads. They were so bad I think half the bus was sick and Aidan held his little sick bag throughout the journey whilst praying for a straight road.
Katie.
