We wanted to go south from Kota Bharu to Taman Negara, the oldest rainforest in the world. We could have either got the 3 hour express train from 9pm to 12am or the 'slow train' that starts at 6am and takes 11 hours.

We got the slow train, for the views.

The reason it is so slow is because it stops in loads of places and sometimes doesn't move on for an hour and a half.

It rained all day.

We had to sit in economy but 11 hours went by really quickly so we weren't bothered.

The views were incredible. I took loads of photos but it looked a lot better from where I was sitting.
