After a nice sleep in this morning, we took a drive over to Coffin Bay, home of the oysters that we often see on seafood menus in restaurants around Australia. In the Coffin Bay National Park, we stopped first at Templetonia Lookout with superb views to many of the surrounding islands. We then drove out to Yangie Bay Campground for a look - it was pretty quiet with nobody camping today probably given the heat. We drove back over to Point Avoid to a nice look...

Another very hot day today, so first thing was for the children to cool off and jump off the jetty a few more times! Then it was time to leave Venus Bay and continue south down the Eyre Peninsula. A highlight of the road trip was seeing a lone emu out on the wheat plans - he started to chase the car too! We had a quick stop at Coulta on the way to Port Lincoln as it was close to 40 degrees.
