Day 6 of Nothing. We must stress the fact although the days of nothing are planned, we are also waiting for the perfect day to experience the amazing snorkeling around the island. Reports so far are that the vision is murky due to the overnight down pours. We have being frequenting a place called the Chill Out Cafe everyday as it offers exactly what we need. Tonight, we made our way through the rain to the other side of the beach to eat there. This rapidly turned into an intense game of cards with one of the staff, Nip. It was hard work for the brain as we tried to explain the rules of our games to a barely English, Malaysian guy and he tried to teach us his games. The main reason we hung around was the fact he mentioned that the previous night a giant turtle made its way up the beach in front of them and shared their company. We were unlucky enough not to see it tonight. However, Char is methodically working her way around the fish BBQ's on offer up and down the beach. The Chill Out Cafe get the gold medal. M & C xxxx
