Arriving in Cairns I was excited about diving the Great Barrier Reef. After an early night I was up bright and early to board the Passions of Paradise boat for my diving trip to the reef.
I completed two dives on the reef, my first dive I saw a small white ripped reef shark as well as a wealth of other marine life on both dives. The food onboard was brilliant and I had a great day.
That night I went out with Alan, Tom, Ryan and Sophie to the Woolshed - dancing on tables and having our faces painted with zinc.
Up early for the Uncle Brian's tour into the jungle I was exhausted! Greeted by a skinny Aussie with dreads who introduced himself as cousin Brad I soon learnt he had the unbelievable capability to learn everyone's names in an instant and talk all day! We visited a number of waterfalls, one had a rock slide, the other was where Peter Andre filmed his video to "Mysterious Girl", also the same place that Timotei and Pantene filmed their adverts. The water was freezing! But I couldn't resist trying the "hair flick" myself - not quite the same effect! Then out in Gilligans that night.
Day three in Cairns I spent relaxing. Sunbathing at the lagoon; you can't swim on the "beach" because of the saltwater crocs. Temperatures hit 35 degrees - bliss! Then of course back out at the Woolshed.
Day four, I took a trip to Port Douglas, about an hour north of Cairns. It was a nice chance to relax and do nothing for a day and night.
My final day back in Cairns I caught up with Emma and Nash by the lagoon and then had dinner.
