We went off to visit Mosman Gorge in the Daintree Forest, Getting there early we found ourselves alone in the " jungle" but still failed to see any crocodiles , just a few lizards and lots of birds. By the time we had finished our walk the tour buses were arriving. The centre was quite large tourist attraction all about the culture and history of the indigenous people and for £30 we could have had an educated tour, but we didn't need educating anymore so we saved our money and had enjoyed the walk. The afternoon was our last one to enjoy swimming in warm sea and the clouds once again appeared late afternoon to spoil the sunset. Port Douglas had been like a little mini holiday on our trip. The weather had been cloudier and windier than the previous weeks but they are now approaching the wet season when it will rain everyday and the humidity and heat gets unbearable, otherwise it could be another perfect place to retire to!
