Not much to report today . A plane from Cairns to Melbourne and then arriving in the cold!
I think the temperature difference was about 20 degrees. Melbourne unlike other major cities has no train connection to the city so relies on shuttle buses. We were staying in South Melbourne in a B&B so we had booked this allowing plenty of time for delays and of course we got in early and transport was late so we froze!
Accommodation was on a top floor apartment with fantastic views and it doesn't get dark until 8 pm so we had plenty of time of an evening stroll.
