A lovely morning and I woke early to take advantage of the peace and quiet and enjoyed the sunrise and an early morning swim. When the rest of crew emerged the runners went off looking for strava segments and we all assembled again after the morning briefing, coffee, and shopping. Dave and Judith escorted the swimmers as they swam across the busy channel back to the mooring. With a good wind blowing we decided to sail off the mooring and enjoyed a few hours of very good sailing. Barb and Judith managed to prepare lunch for everyone on the go, which impressed the crew. As usual sailing the distance took longer than we thought but we managed a stop in a bay just outside Split where we had to perform our stunts of jumping off the boat in unison. Barb was dispatched to the dinghy with the go pro and got some brilliant shots. Time was running short as we had to get back to base by 4pm so not much time to practice but luckily we all jumped together, maybe we will be in the Sunsail brochure next year! ( I think not)
There was a trail of Sunsail yachts going back to base but Duncan reversed us into position along the pontoon and which point we discovered the bow thrusters had broken, still, all back safe and sound, (so we thought) After shopping and showering we met up for prize giving. The free bubbly went down well and every boat won a prize, we won the poetry prize so everyone was happy. It was the last opportunity for a group photo on the wall. Kate was our photographer for our ape to man shot, or little to large in our case. We said our farewells to the crew before going out to dinner. Our last meal of our holiday. A jolly night as usual.
