We all slept well, though the noise of a late night disco and 6am bell ringing! At least there was no squeaky ropes or wind. Sarah and Simon went for a run and Judith and Graham went swimming Dave and Barb went walking and after 8.30 daily briefing we assembled for breakfast. The usual Mediterranean breakfast eggs and tasty sausages, tomatoes cheeses and ham. The shoppers returned with more goodies and we were ready for departure at 11am . We soon were under sail. We tacked out of the bay easy sailing with electric winches and sat nav. Lunchtime stop was in Mala Luka on the island of Drvnik. We sailed on to the island of Solta where we were staying at Maslonica. We looked for a bouy or anchor spot outside the marina but we could not find anything suitable. We had resort to the marina, we performed our reversing in and picking up lazy lines without too much embarrassment. A swimming trip in a nice lagoon and open air showers preceded the punch party on the quay side. We met some of the other flotilla parties before getting a bus to the restaurant Sampier up on the hill. A lovely sunset view over the islands made it an idealiic location. We walked back down through town to the noise of Russian Karaoke. A game of red handed was played .Dave managed to win each round even though he held on to the card the longest and gave the most obscure clues. This wonderful achievement earnt him the trophy of the day.
