To avoid the crowds we got up early to visit the Krka falls. We dropped off Dave and Barbara ofor the 8am ferry, and we checked out the bikes. The youth arrived and we were allocated bikes for our ride up to the Falls. The bike ride was very scenic and although a bit bumpy as it was off road and a near head on collision with a lorry was a bit scary but we arrived soon after Dave and Barb. The trail around the park was very picturesque and a dip in the pool in front of the falls was a great photo opportunity. The park was getting busy as we ended our visit, we were diverted to do a geocache on our way back, but got back by 12.00 and did some more food shopping. We departed from our mooring and headed for the lake for lunch where some good wind enabled us to get the sails up. Lunch was the usual feast followed by Jenny's excellent cake.
Before we motored down the river we had a quick blast across the lake under sail. A stop for mussels made some interesting manoeuvring with Simon dispatched in a dingy to make the bargain purchase.Leaving the river we tried some more sailing but as usual the after noon wind died as we approached Privic, a pretty little quiet harbour. We picked up a buoy and all went for a swim. We could easily swim to the shore and the quaint little town was so pretty. There was a quick trip to the town at sunset where we enjoyed the view with a beer. We were eating on board tonight, Duncan and Barb prepared some lovely fresh mussels and tuna pasta before we had our quiz. Simon was the winner of the quiz and won trophy today for his quiz success and buying the mussels.
