We picked up Barb and Dave at 7am and arrived at the car park at Heathrow for 8am , no impromptu stops in the motorway this year. Beth had been super early but the London mob were still doing their pickups when we arrived. After a stocking up on gin we were all assembled for our trip . A much better flight this year with Croatian Airways , no obese people and no crying children so even I though we were a bit delayed we had a free snack and drink so arrived happy and at a sensible time of 3pm. All the sunsail people were gathered up and transferred to the marina north of Split called Agana. Kate our hostess took us to our 53ft yacht called Seraphine we need to think of a more inspirational name.
Everyone was allocated their cabins and some headed to the shops while others had the yacht briefing. We stocked up on the usual supplies, but Elly's bargain cheap 3 litre wine was rejected for a 2 litre bottle, later to be tested and deemed "OK".A trip to the restaurant was fine and we returned back to vote on the winner of the " don't panic trophy" . Jenny won on the grounds she was still in the shower and didn't panic when Sarah and Duncan came to pick her up and that she has failed to get through airport security ever since her filing has been" lodged to her lung" Sarah attempted to get into her cabin via a porthole which might put her in contention for tomorrow's trophy.
