Got up early today and enjoyed an all you can eat buffet breakfast in the hotel which was amazing. After that I made an effort to do a bit of solo exploring. I was overwhelmed by the traffic here, seriously if you come to Vietnam, forget everything your mum told you about crossing the road, it's INSANE!!! picture 100 motorbikes, no road rules and an endless orchestra of horns. They don't stop, you just go into zombie mode, walk and they dodge you....hopefully.
I had a look at the food markets, almost vomited from the smell of all the meat sitting out in the sun. I made a note not to eat anything that wasn't approved by the tour group so I ate from subway for lunch since i knew someone could probably sue someone else if I died from food poisoning...which I didn't.
I didn't want to risk getting lost so I kept pretty close to the motel today.
After lunch I went to the motel spa and tested myself to a 2 hour whole body massage, i found it strange that the majority of it was performed with the chick standing on my back and manipulating me with her feet....strange but good!
Still a bit jet lagged so I had an early night to bed tonight.
