Woke up to a 40 degree day, I had THE BEST sleep last night in our air conditioned room (the beds had snugly doonas instead of the usual one sheet)
Breakfast was amazing in this motel, there was everything from chocolate crepes to fruit and muesli to eggs and bacon.
We all caught cyclo bikes to take us sight seeing today, they are like wheelchairs with bikes on the back and the little Asian men drive you around.
There was an option at the temples to either walk around learning educational stuff OR we could ride elephants!!! Surprisingly I was one of only five people who chose the ride, it was so cool! I got my friend Jen to take photos but my damn camera batteries went flat, she took some on hers for me though and I'll pinch them from Facebook when we get home.
I had a manicure at the motel in free time when we returned. Then a stir fry lunch before we jumped on the bus to the airport for our flight to Hanoi. This will be our last flight of the tour and tomorrow night we spend on a luxury junk boat overnight cruise at Halong Bay. then our tour will finish back in Hanoi on Wednesday morning.
We got to the motel quite late so Hoover took us on a quick tour to show us the main attractions, good food places, bars and markets.
We went to a sushi restaurant for dinner, it was all Asian with a no shoes policy and mushy cushions on the floor to sit on.
The traffic here is THE WORST we've seen, it's literally hundreds and hundreds of motorbikes moving end to end (google image it if you're bored)
I had a look through the markets and found a great DVD store, had a bit of a splurge there for the sake of some lonely winter nights back in broken hill (new gossip girl, one tree hill and how I met you mother anyone?)
Early night tonight as the next 2 nights are set to be quite massive seeing as they will be our last nights together.
First thing I'll do when I get back to Adelaide Is get my hair done, I miss my hair products!!!! But other than that I could definitely stay in vietnam for a lot longer.
