Hello from Vietnam friends and family (mum and dad)
I have no overseas phone sim card and due to the major inconvenience of This country being against communism apparently i am not allowed to brag on my Facebook about how AWESOME! this place is!
Sooooo thanks to my trusty iPhone app I have created this blog for your enjoyment and will update at every free wifi port.
So Enjoy it my pretties..,
I arrived in Ho Chi Mihn City at around 9pm Vietnamese time after a whole day of flying, starting from adelaide at 6am I made my way to Melbourne and spent a good 3 hours wandering the airport, I was not impressed with my last minute $11 ham sandwich before boarding my flight to Darwin where I stopped over for about an hour, luckily there was better food there, although still not quite worth the price but hey that's probably my fault for not packing nibbles.
My favorite thing today was probably the view from the window while flying over Darwin.
It was dark when I landed in Vietnam and as I was very lucky and had 3 spare seats on the plane I had been sleeping the whole flight so after check in I went straight to bed.
I'll do a bit of exploring tomorrow and meet my contiki tour group on Saturday night :)
