Took the Denali Star train to Talkeetna today. A lovely 3 hour ride through beautiful countryside where I saw three moose- my first sighting of these peculiar beasts. Arrived in Talkeetna and was transported on the back of a lorry to the Talkeetna Roadhouse by the owner!
I'm living above the museum and attended a talk by one of the park rangers who took us through a virtual climb of the highest mountain in the USA - Mt McKinley. It was a talk not to be missed!
