Attractions. So I stopped at an rv park in Wall. Basically in 1931 the Husteds bought the drug store in Wall and quickly found there wasn't much trade. After 5 years of slow trade Dorothy had the idea of offering travellers free iced water and erected signs on route 16a. After dropping the Baker girls at Rapid City Airport I headed to the air museum. Took a guided tour of the live airbase where they fly B1's. Also saw the training silo for the minuteman2 missiles.

On our return from Badlands and a quick stop to see a petrified Forrest, we came downtown for a lovely buffet dinner followed by a shoutout in the street. Suzanne asked "does our asses look big in these?" Teehee

Today was a 100 mile drive to the Badlands, which for the uninitiated, is an area which used to be underwater and the tectonic plates pushed the whole area up and out of the water. Since which rain and wind have sculpted the area and many fossils can be found.
