Iowa is a state with thousands of wind generators and still more are headed down the i80 going west. The blades look massive when on their truck transport. Also I noticed the rivers were awfully full and close to overflowing the i80 bridges. Later this day my phone gave out flood warnings for many places including my campsite for the night. Feet still dry so good result!

350 miles travelled today in remarkably fair weather despite all the tornado and thunderstorm warnings. Stopped near Omaha just as I went to put my watch on the strap broke !!! So nearby the Apple Store I went in and bought myself a watch.
