Well, today was a bit of a right off. We were up late as didn't leave the hostel until the afternoon. We had a voucher for buy one get one free at a fast food place called Oporto so went there. They do decent grilled chicken burgers with nice sauces. We took our food up to the park and relaxed around there for a bit. Nice and sunny again!

We needed to get some info about things we are doing up the east coast over the next 5 weeks so set off to go to a couple of travel agents. On the way down we bumped into Candice and Emma!! They're the two girls we met in China when we first started travelling. Then we bumped into them in Phi Phi and now here in Sydney! Strange.

They're travelling up north around the same time as us and mentioned that they were struggling to book accommodation because everywhere is so full. So we had a bit of a panic on trying to book accommodation for Byron Bay, which is where we'll be in only 3 days! The problem is, most backpackers are now leaving Sydney after NYE celebrations with a lot of people going in the same direction as us.

Fortunately we managed to get somewhere that had been recommended to us, so we felt a bit better. But we were still struggling with a few things. We called it a night and decided to get up early tomorrow to get things sorted out.
