OMG, what a day!!
First off we had to sort the room out. We made separate bookings for the nights we stayed here, through different websites because it was cheaper. That confused them, so we had to deal with that.
Then we decided to go look at the Outlet Centre. Went into Nike which was cr*p. No discounts really, just same as the shops.
So then I went to get my haircut. Well, this girl used three different blade sizes to cut the sides of my hair, then she was hacking away at the top of my hair. She wasn't cutting it like I get it cut at home, but I just thought maybe this is USA style. Then she asked me if I'd like gel and forward or spikey. She went ahead and spiked my hair making me look like Sonic the freakin' hedgehog! Therese wasn't around, so I paid and went straight to the toilets. I looked in the mirror...could not believe what she had done. Can't even get a freakin' haircut without issues. Blag
Came out of the toilets, found Therese and went back to the hairdressers. We'd just seen the girl who cut my hair walk past us in the opposite direction from the hair salon, so I was able to go straight to the manager. I hadn't even really finished complaining before she said "take a seat, I'll fix it for you".
When she started, she was shaking her head in disbelief at how bad it was. She said there were too many different lengths and one part was really short. Honestly, it was a complete mess! Even she wasn't too good at cutting my hair and missed bits, but it was far far better.
To cheer me up, we got some cinnamon pretzel sticks from Auntie Anne's. Guess what!? They tasted like they'd been sat there under that heater all day long. So had to take them back and get something else. Tedious.
After that, we mostly just spent time thinking about where to go for the last weeks of our travels...
