So today we finally had to say goodbye to Vegas and make our way back to Cali.
We've really enjoyed Vegas and it's definitely somewhere we'll be coming back to...maybe even for my 30th...can't believe I'm talking about myself becoming 30...

We didn't really do a great deal today. Did our washing if you wanna know.

One thing we did have to do before leaving was sort out some compensation for the Grand Canyon debacle!
We stormed into the office...actually, we went in very nice and spoke to a really helpful and sympathetic woman. In the end, she refunded $150 (£100), bringing the total cost of the tour down to $300 (£200) for the both of us. Very happy with that, although we did end up wasting a lot time because of it all.

After that, we drove 4 hours back to LA. We didn't have any accommodation booked, but found a place called Hollywood Inn which was alright. It was fairly late by then, so we just nipped to Fresh N Easy (Tesco in USA) and got a tub of fresh Turkey Chilli soup to share and went back to the room. We have a microwave in the room so we could save some money on food!

And that's it for today - kicked back an watched a film.
