Woke up with a lion in my bedroom...no, that would be funny though, kind of! Woke up with a sore head instead!
We were up really late and then just mooched around in our luxury suite. It was nice to relax and not rush around.
This hotel is all-suite - I'd love to see the best rooms.
After a night out, I fancied a bit of fast food, so I dragged Therese to Johnny Rocket's at the Fashion Show Mall. It's a really cool retro burger diner. Even at our table we had this little old fashioned juke-box style song selector. It had pages to turn and then it was 5 cents (3p) to play a golden oldie song. Think of the Back to the Future film, it's like that.
Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great on this occasion. I had a St Louis and it was too tangy and soggy. Therese asked for her burger on wheat and it came on white so sent it back, which took ages.
We had a voucher for 2 for 1 tickets to go up the Paris Eifel Tower, so went along to that. It was only $11 (£7.50) for us both. That's a really good hotel and casino too. It's like being in an outdoor park inside. In a lot of the casinos or shopping malls, the sealing is painted to look like the sky, so is blue with White clouds dotted around. Inside, there was a bridge we had to walk across, which wasn't just an ordinary bridge, it was made to look realistic and French style obviously, with black lanterns standing all the way along.
We had to wait a little bit, then took the lift up the Eifel Tower! It's supposedly half the size of the real one and it's actually built like it. It's not just painted to look like it or anything, it's really made from steel girders all the way up.
The views at the top were fantastic, way nicer than Stratosphere. We could see all the hotels on The Strip, and best of all we could watch the Bellagio Fountains show which is just across the road. Really good birds-eye view of it all.
We went back to our hotel to take a look around The Venetian, The Palazzo and the Grand Shoppes. It's all absolutely amazing. They're so nice inside. And the Grand Shoppes has a small canal system in there with gondolas sailing through, with guests being serenaded just like Venice. They even have a miniature St Mark's Square like Venice.
It was fairly late by that time, so we went back to the Suite to kick-back and relax.
