Day 1

After leaving the Postojna Caves we return to Italy, and normal toilets. We arrived at our campsite Alba DOro similar to Rome and Florence camp sites. We all rushed around try to get our washing done (we haven't washed since Rome), and then we had pizza and red wine for dinner.

Afterwards we all got (tried) dressed in toga and joined another top deck tour at the bar. Everyone really got into the night, it was awesome. The night ended with Sharny going to hospital after a dodgy e, or a spiked drink not sure which but poor Scotty had to spend half the night in hospital and with only one hour sleep he had to get up and cook us lot breakfast.

Day 2

Today we had our first tour included a lace making demonstration, giuded by Scotty, because Damo was no where to be found (nor was Nerada). He did a great job though. After our tour we (Prue, Lauren, Katherine, Sam, Kristina and I) went for a gondola ride through the canals taking in the romantic city. For lunch we ate pasta along side the canals, before exploring the city. Lauren and I checked out St. Marc's Basilica, Plaza roma, Rialto Bridge, the bell tower and the amazing glass and mask shops.

Lauren, Prue and I got carried away in this gorgeous city, and didn't realise how far away we were from the bus stop. It took us 20 minutes running through what felt like a maze to try to catch the bus to be back in time for dinner. We missed it by 5 minutes.
