Florence si one of the most chilled out and relaxing cities to visit. Our accomadation was lovelly located in the Tuscan hills. We stayed in a large camping resort, with restaurants, a shop, bar (Wallabies vrs The All Blacks was on the big screen), disco tek and even a pool not that we got to swim in it cause it was closed every time we wanted to go in it. We got to taste our first Italian food and wine in the resort restaurant as a group meal, and our first gellato. We also experienced our first disc tek and a chance to bond with our group.
Our day in Florence begins with a walking tour of the city with a local guide. We got to see many statues, inclueding many fake Davids. Florence also has many amazing white stone buildings including the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo Cathedral. It's Sunday so It's relaxed, quiet and very hot. After al leather demonstration on florence leather boxes which really interested Lauren. Lauren and I found a great restaurant on a side street where we tried a gnochi, it was fantastic the best. Apart from great food Florence also has great shopping. Well known for leather and silver. We bought the same leather bags, Florenze T-shirts as well as hats, kaftans, bathers and sun glasses for sailing. Later on we had dinner before catching the last bus pickup
