A girl had decided to stay longer meaning there wasn't enough room in the dorm so they upgraded us to a double private room - fine by me! The hostel is very old fashioned tho and the decor/furniture is in definite need of an upgrade. The private rooms are located in a separate building which is so quiet and reminds me of the tower of terror at Disney! There's a piano which we could just see playing by itself in the middle of the night!
In the morning we had the free breakfast! Not the first to offer it but by far be best so far. Everything from tea and coffee, toast and various spreads and a selection of cereals.
We decided to do the walk to the centre of New Zealand. This meant hiking up a rather steep hill which we did and at the top celebrated with lunch! We then walked back through town finding the cinema. We decided to see Maleficent see we are ending our travels in Disney! So glad we did as it was sooooo good.
The next morning we enjoyed the free breakfast again and then proceeded to browse the shops in the area in the afternoon. In the evening we decided to curl up in bed and watch movies on our laptops before making dinner and enjoying a glass of wine (a Pinot noir bought on our wine tasting day).
