We had a lie-in this morning before I headed to the shopping centre over the road with Tosh so that he could download some stuff he needed for his conference using the free wifi.

Back at the hostel, we had a late breakfast before heading to the beach for the afternoon. We caught the train to Cottesloe and walked up a hill towards the beach. On the way, we walked past some amazing houses - definitely a millionaires row! On the other side of the hill we got our first view of the Indian Ocean and headed down to the beautiful beach. The waves were breaking on the shore, the sun was shining and Laura and I agreed that it was one of the better beaches we've visited in Australia!

We had a swim in the ocean to cool off and spent the rest of the afternoon working on our tans. Tosh enjoyed himself and even went for a dip in the sea despite coming to the beach without a towel or swimming shorts - well prepared!

We stayed at the beach to watch the sunset - perfect! Eventually we caught the train back to the city and went on a hunt for food. The supermarkets had closed so we ended up eating at a couple of takeaways - pizza for me, kebab for Laura and a 'Super Hot Dog' (complete with fried egg and garlic sauce!) for Tosh!

Antother relaxing day on the West Coast….tomorrow we're going to have another wander around the city.
