Sheri My husband Russ did the UK Ironman last year. 2 and a half mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run in 12 hours and 18 mins!!!! He was shattered but some people start at 6 in the morning in the dark and finish in the dark. I'm glad you didn't eat the shark!

re: Queenstown, New ZealandH A COLEMAN Brilliant, thanks Laura, I might even get Uncle Bill to visit New Zealand one of these days, the rugby World Cup just might persuade him, great log!!
re: Kaikora, New Zealandshoes what a lie.......actually the lampost bit is true but the rest of the time you have been walking with your pants out, rasbe nesbitt string vest on and scratching your arse while eating fergburgers...
re: Wellington, New Zealandmum It was a lovely surprise to get your blog today-its a great way to catch up on what you are doing. Sounds pretty eventful up to now - but I thought it would be I know it was when Kate first travelled. Nothing much happening this end except that Kate had yet another interview and still doesnt know if she has got it. Hopefully we should know next week. James has got a little dog from the rescue centre he is a little yorkie called frankie he is rather cute, and very strange doesnt bark or make any noise which is odd considering ours never stop barking. Fred got on well with him, but Jason kept trying to bite him - good job he hasnt got any teeth. One thing nice about it, is that James wants the dogs to all get on so keeps bringing him round so we get to see more of him. Just hope that they keep up with all the walking etc. James said he felt so sorry for the dogs he could have brought them all home. BY the time you get this you should be in Oz please keep up to date re: the earthquake as it was really bad and they are still getting aftershocks. Dont forget to hook up with Brian and Helen as Im sure you will be more than welcome. Love and miss you loads and loads, luv Mum Dad James Kate and the two ruffians they send their barks. xxxxx
