The journey to Wellington began well as Laura managed to smash into the lampost pulling out the driveway of Shani's aunts...... She isn't allowed near the driver seat now. It has added some more character to our all ready blemished van however!! We met Shani's cousin Sam after a ride up the cable car to a beautiful view over Wellington. Nice City with a seaside feel about it. We basically spent the weekend on the lash, starting in Sams local on the Friday night where we drunk copiously while playing Drats and vide games. Generally showing the Kiwi's how REAL drinking is done! The next day we met with some family friends and again smashed up at the Uni Bar watching MGMT!!!! Very sore heads the following day but we had a wicked BBQ in the sunshine. We went to The best museum called Te Papa, so good and big it actually took us 3 visits to get round it all!! All in all Wellington is a great place with some lively Bars and good food, plus a chilled out vibe to it all. Also I SAW A PENGUIN!! Next we're off to the South Island.......
