Woke up at 7:30am today and did some skyping before heading out for a drive. We were going to head to Whistler, but decided to head to Squamish instead to give the car a bit of a run before we head to Jasper on Sunday. All is good with the car, just a bit of a judder when going between 70 & 80kmph, but if we turn off 'over drive' mode, its fine - but taking it to the garage tomorrow for them to sort out just to be sure.. (hopefully they can sort it!)

When we got to Squamish, we did a shop at the Walmart to stock up on things for our trip to Jasper, and called in at a few stores there. I managed to bag a bargain on some North Face ski trousers reduced from 200$, so my trip was successful.. but still yet to find some decent outdoor footwear that I actually half like/are comfortable! They all seem too wide.. fingers crossed I'll find some tomorrow!

The drive to Squamish was beautiful - there were amazing views, especially over Horsehoe bay and the highway stretched right along the coast. After we got back, we popped to town to look for some shoes - no success, so we headed back to the apartment at 8pm. We tried some sour cream and chive pasta for dinner; it was quite nice! Now it's time for bed, ready for another early start tomorrow (and our last full day in Vancouver!)
