Evening :)

Today has been yet another busy day! A rainy one at that too.. Vancouver still manages to look amazing whether rain or sunshine. We got up at 6am today and set off to Granville to pick up some documents that Jacob had left at the bank there. Then we had a long walk to catch the skytrain to Port Moody which was where we planned on looking at cars.. on the way we saw an IHOP (International House of Pancakes) so we thought we'd stop by to have some brunch! I had crepes with fruit, granola and strawberry yoghurt & Jacob opted for the Pancake breakfast with hashbrowns, bacon etc and decided to test out all their flavoured syrups! (stawberry, blueberry, peacan butter and natural)! After filling our tums, we got the train and looked at a few cars, and found one or two that we liked but were unsure of..so we left it for today. We did find an ideal one but it was slightly over our budget when tax gets added on top, and it was a bit of a gas guzzler! After a lot of taxi hitching, we got the skytrain from Lougheed station to New Westminster, where we trekked in the pouring rain to look at a few more garages there, finding nothing suitable for what we want/need. So after a good 7 hours of catching trains and looking at cars, and getting a bit lost on the way.. we got the skytrain back to the Waterfront near Downtown and headed back to our apartment around 5:30pm!

It's now nearly 7pm and we're making linguine for dinner whilst watching Vancouver Canucks ice hockey on tv! Getting more into the swing of things now so our bedtime is gradually getting later than the very early 7pm! :)
