Today was our first day of work! We got up at 6:30am and walked the very long minute to our workplace from our accommodation. We had a pretty easy day, it was more of an induction, getting to know everything. The cabins here are cosy and have nice little fireplaces in the new ones. The older cabins arent as nice, but still cosy looking.

Our shift ended at 2pm, so a nice short 6 hour day. We'll be working 40hrs per week which is good, with two days off. Not sure on the rota yet, but hopefully theyll make one soon!

After work I drove us to Jasper to get a pass for the national park (you have to pay to enter the Jasper border if visiting, but as we have work here, ours is free). We didnt manage to get passes today, so hopefully itll be open on ouf next day off! After a quick look around, we went back to accommodation and had a pretty relaxed evening!

Tomorrow will be a full day of work, and we get go drive a golfbuggy about which will make things more fun!
