I got on with researching Math's Tutoring today (I've been thinking I might do it to raise a bit more funds), and so I went to the library to see if they had any space where I could do it, as clearly the hostel wouldn't be very good, and it would be good to do it somewhere in town so I wouldn't have to get a bus to the students house. Me and Bex went to Tribal Travel to see if Essie (at least that's what the woman called herself) could get us work for accommodation to fit our requirements (fit around our working hours, allow guests I.e. Alice to visit, not be so early in the morning for Bex, not be every day, be in town), and so we have booked into Reef Hostel- Bex is going to hand in her notice today, and so move in in a week's time, but since I hadn't even done the breakfast shift solo yet...

Not much difference between today and any other day apart from it was Pancake Day and so Josh had brought in pancake mix to work, and so after Me, Anna and Emilie had finished our shift, we made some in the kitchen and topped them with marshmallows and chocolate sauce. Josh also let me taste some of his steak (which is part of the training staff are meant to do) and I actually quite liked it.

Helped Penny with the breakfast today- so much better than cleaning toilets! So much more sociable and less sweaty and you get the bonus of eating as much toast as you want, and getting to keep the crusts that would otherwise be thrown out, although you don't get to keep left toiletries from the bathrooms. We were supposed to be seeing Katie (Bex's cousin) today, after she had finished reading at Millie's school, but she must have been caught up in something...

It was nice to have my last cleaning shift- no more getting sweaty! I met Alice, and we went to the supermarket, getting sidetracked by the frozen yoghurt and toppings stall opposite. I managed to spend $9 today! I had training at work at 4.30 (which wasn't really training, just a checklist of what I know and have been shown) and then carried on working until 9.30 because it got really busy tonight for some reason. There was a table who weren't too happy...
