We had received vouchers for a free breakfast, but never needed to present them to claim it. I decided to make the most of it and eat rather a lot. We got the bus at 8.30, and it was quite a good journey as we made lots of little short stops, although this meant me and Alice were more tempted to spend money on snacks and drinks out of boredom from the bus journey. After spending a fair bit of money whilst being in Queenstown, we thought we'd best have a day just chilling out at the hostel. Alice spent most of her day in the room reading her book, whilst I watched the start of the new Muppet movie, until fellow TV watchers decided it was too awful to carry on watching, so we switched to Masterchef and then some girls put About a Boy on.

We had to get up quite early today to catch the bus at 7.35 to go to Milford Sounds. We stopped off at a couple of places on the way in Fiordland, like a couple of watering holes and waterfalls, and then got our boat cruise. Our tour included a packed lunch so the first part of the cruise I was more interested in consuming that- ham sandwich, cheese and crackers, cookies and an Orange and a kiwi fruit. I woke Alice up probably a bit earlier than I needed to so we could give the van back, but at least we had plenty of time to move our stuff out and get it clean.
