I woke Alice up probably a bit earlier than I needed to so we could give the van back, but at least we had plenty of time to move our stuff out and get it clean. I drove it to the airport, which is where the Jucy office was, and then decided to walk back, and with the bus fare saved I brought myself a coffee. It was a really nice walk along by the lake side, so I'm glad I did, although I decided to go back to the main road sooner than I needed to, and that bit wasn't so nice.
We went to get some more sushi, and I tried Alice's recommendation of the deep fried salmon and cheese roll and octopus balls, as well as a Lion King roll.
I had to check in at 1.30 for my bunjy, to get a bus at 2 pm, which took us to the bunjy site. Once there, I had to get weighed to determine the type of bunjy cord, and then queued up on the bridge. I strangely felt it quite calming that I had to wait quite a while, as the first time I saw someone jump it made my stomach flip, and so the more jumps I watched the more normal it seemed to become. There was one guy who attempted it 2 times, but each time couldn't do it, and so he chickened out. Apparently 1 in 100 people don't do it, so I felt like I had to otherwise it would ruin the statistics! I also told myself I need a new pyjama top, and so I needed to do it as you don't get the free top if you don't jump. They harnessed me up by wrapping a towel around my legs and then tying a knot around them, which didn't feel like it would be that secure. The waist belt and leg hoops also felt a bit loose! Pete had told me that when he did his they reinforce in your mind that they count down from 3, and when they say jump if you don't jump then you won't do it, so because I didn't the first time I thought I had blew it, and so was saying "I can't do this". However when they counted down the second time, I closed my eyes and went for it. I didn't really know what I was doing but in the video playback I kind of bent my body instead of keeping it straight like you're probably supposed to do. Once I had bounced up and down a couple of times, I was kind of thinking 'now what do I do?' but there were 2 people in a boat at the bottom who held out a rod for me to hold onto while they pulled me down onto it. It must be a funny job as I know I was wittering on in a very adrenalin-filled way. I think Alice was on the receiving end of the adrenaline wittering on as well.
I watched the video and looked at the pictures, and although they were very expensive for what they were, I thought I wouldn't be doing another one so ay as well get the pictures. I was feeling a bit rushed though as our bus was supposed to pick us up at 3.50, but it had been very busy and so I was only finished by about 3.30. I'm not sure why but the man at the counter said I could ask him a question but my head was too filled with other things to think of anything good so I asked him what his favourite cheese was (gorgonzola and then halloumi apparently).
After showering, we went down to Fergburgers- a very popular burger restaurant which is open 21 hours a day! They had a lot of people working in the kitchen, and there were a lot of people waiting, but it didn't take too long or my ginger soy chicken burger and Alice's satay tofu burger to be called out, which we took down to the lake side to eat in the sunshine.
