Santiago was a lovely city and the end of another leg of our trip, said bye to rob, charlotte, christine and hannah and donna, (who we'll miss most!). Went to the Concha y Toro Vineyard, with a wine tasting and tour of the famous casillero del diablo (cellar of the devil) a legend made up that the devil lived in this cellar to stop thiefs from stealing the wine!! Did some sightseeing, but ont he first day it absolutely Pissed it down and we got SoaKED! so didnt see everything we wanted to see. As it was people's last night we went out for a nice meal and had some wine, then went on for more drinks (of which i remember nothing) and i fell over on the way home, hit a bench and had a black eye for the next two weeks!! There is a lovely momento of it in the photo gallery! Such an idiot... I didnt get to do anything the next day and had to meet the new group with my cap and sunglasses on!!
Managed to get to walk around the city and see alot of sights on our last day (which mark had seen the day before when i was in bed), President's residence, churches and a couple of museums. Then off on the night bus to pucon. Nabeel decided to stay in santiago to snowboard and catch us up in argentina, but we later found out that he got a flight the next day to NZ!! He had a laptop with everyone's photos on... Some people were not too pleased!!
